One came in and walked on my desk. The other,its partner, stayed at the window. I've never had any kind of bird do that in the 21 years I've lived in this unit.As I proceeded to shoo it out, I was caught by a moment. Usually I find this bird unpleasing, but suddenly as I looked into the eyes of the one at the window that didn't make its way in, I felt a connection to another consciousness or being. I seemed powerful at a time when I am going through a tough period in my life. It was as though they brought friendship into my house. As though they were compassionate or had compassion for me.
